Sittingbourne's Got Talent singing competition is organised by HayLee Music Studio in collaboration with The Forum Shopping Centre, Sittingbourne.

By registering for and participating in the competition, contestants (and parents/guardians where applicable) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The competition is open to singers residing in the UK.

1.2 There are two competition categories:
• Under 16s
• Over 16s

1.3 Contestants under the age of 16 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to enter the competition.

1.4 A parent or legal guardian must accompany contestants under 16 years of age during auditions and any subsequent competition stages.

1.5 The organisers reserve the right to request proof of age where necessary.

2. Competition Format

2.1 The competition will consist of:
• Auditions at The Forum Shopping Centre, Sittingbourne
• Two Semi-Finals at HayLee Music Studio
• One Grand Final at HayLee Music Studio

2.2 Dates, times and venues may be subject to change at the organisers' discretion.

2.3 The judges' decisions at all stages of the competition are final.

2.4 No correspondence will be entered into regarding judging decisions.

3. Registration

3.1 All contestants must complete the official registration form prior to participating.

3.2 Contestants are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate and complete.

3.3 The organisers reserve the right to refuse or cancel an entry where false or misleading information has been provided.

4. Performance Requirements

4.1 Contestants must perform a song suitable for a family audience.

4.2 The organisers reserve the right to refuse performances containing offensive, discriminatory, abusive or inappropriate content.

4.3 Contestants may be required to shorten or adapt their performance to meet event scheduling requirements.

4.4 Contestants are responsible for providing their backing track in the requested format prior to their performance.

5. Photography, Video Recording & Social Media Consent

5.1 Auditions, semi-finals and the final may be photographed, filmed and recorded by the organisers and authorised representatives.

5.2 By entering the competition, contestants grant HayLee Music Studio and The Forum Shopping Centre permission to photograph, film and record their participation.

5.3 Contestants agree that photographs, video footage, audio recordings and performance clips may be used for:
• Social media content
• Website content
• Promotional materials
• Press releases
• Marketing and advertising campaigns
• Future event promotion

5.4 No payment, royalty or compensation will be due for the use of such content.

5.5 Content may be published across platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, websites, printed materials and local media outlets.

6. Additional Consent for Under 16s

6.1 By registering a contestant under the age of 16, the parent or legal guardian confirms that:

• They give permission for the child to participate in Sittingbourne's Got Talent.
• They consent to the child being photographed, filmed and recorded during all stages of the competition.
• They consent to photographs, video footage and recordings of the child being used for promotional, marketing and social media purposes by HayLee Music Studio and The Forum Shopping Centre.
• They understand that such content may be publicly available online and shared across digital platforms.
• They have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the child.

7. Conduct

7.1 Contestants, parents, guardians and audience members are expected to behave respectfully at all times.

7.2 Any abusive, threatening, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate removal from the venue and/or disqualification from the competition.

7.3 The organisers reserve the right to disqualify any contestant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the event.

8. Health & Safety

8.1 All participants must follow any health, safety and venue instructions provided by event organisers.

8.2 Participation is at the contestant's own risk.

8.3 The organisers accept no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought to the event.

9. Prizes

9.1 Prize details are subject to change without notice.

9.2 Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless otherwise stated.

9.3 Additional prizes may be added to the competition as sponsorship agreements are confirmed.

10. Data Protection

10.1 Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the administration and promotion of Sittingbourne's Got Talent.

10.2 Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

10.3 Contact details may be used to communicate important competition updates and event information.

11. General

11.1 The organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions where necessary.

11.2 The organisers reserve the right to cancel, postpone or modify the competition if circumstances arise beyond their reasonable control.

11.3 Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
